To give you a flavour of latin dancing we have included a professional performance of the Rumba by Simon and Heidi and a sequence of more advanced routines to be taught in the forthcoming DVD's in the series.
The Cha Cha, Rumba, Samba and Social Rock'n'Roll are called the Latin dances. They originate from South and Latin America. Heidi and Simon explain the difference between the characteristics of these dances. You will learn that the Cha Cha is a flirting dance, Samba is a Brazilian carnival dance, Rock'n'Roll is just about fun, while Rumba is about love and passion.
There are at least four steps taught for each dance. After you have learnt them you can try to dance simple routines, combination of the steps. There are two easy routines for each dance prepared by Simon and Heidi, also provided in the DVD. After you have mastered the steps you can try to create your own combinations!!
